This is the essence of the signature Maasai Adamu, or jumping dance. For the Maasai, theirs is a celebration to mark the rite of passage, to welcome young men to the next stage of their lives

The medium I chose to paint on is a canvas. Canvas has a long life span, easier to paint on, and much lighter to transport than traditional wood.
