Ngoma (also called engoma or ng’oma or ingoma) are musical instruments used by certain Bantu populations of Africa. Ngoma is derived from the Kongo word for “drum”. In Kikongo, “ngoma” is used by extension to signify specific dances, social occasions and rhythms.
